"Blue Collar Scrooge" is the eighty-sixth episode of DuckTales.

Synopsis[]

Scrooge gets amnesia and gets a job at one of his own factories. There, he is outraged by the working conditions at McDuck Industries and convinces the workers to go on strike.

  • This is the second Disney TVA episode to premiere on November 9, after the earlier episode "The Treasure of the Golden Suns (Part 1)", also known as "Don't Give Up the Ship" premiering in syndication.

Notes[]

  • This episode seems to take place before "My Mother the Psychic" and "The Big Flub", because Mrs. Crackshell does not recognize Scrooge in this episode.
  • The scene where Scrooge and Mrs. Crackshell accidentally kiss while sharing a pizza is a nod to the famous spaghetti dinner scene in Lady and the Tramp.
  • The nephews helping Fenton pull off imitating Scrooge's accent is a reference to My Fair Lady.
