The Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers comic book published by Boom! Studios was the second of two different comic book series based on the animated television series of the same name. Like the Darkwing Duck title that was running alongside it, it was intended to be an ongoing title. Written by Ian Brill and illustrated by Leonel Castellani, the series consisted entirely of multi-parters, not unlike the earlier Disney Comics title. Unfortunately, due to Disney prematurely pulling the plug on their contract with Boom! Studios, the title was cancelled after only eight issues had been published.
