Giblet the Clown is the secondary antagonist of the Goof Troop episode "Three Ring Bind", voiced by Frank Welker. He is a red-nosed clown with red lips and hair, a party hat and tie, a car horn, and a green suit who actually works with the Ringmaster. He also appears in "Hot Air" and "Buddy Building".
Personality[]
Giblet is not the brightest person in Spoonerville. His grumpy attitude causes him to act hostile to children, and gets especially annoyed when they're antagonistic. He even had the audacity to pop a child's balloon, making that child cry to his pleasure. But despite his nature, he also has a compassionate side, as he helped Max try and win back his friendship with P.J. using a special balloon.
Role in the series[]
He appears in the syndicated episode, "Hot Air". When he meets Pistol, who introduces herself, he tells her he "sells balloons, not bullets".
Sometime, Pete had Giblet to help make his car selling business popular which would be brought up by Peg in his next appearance.
His next appearance is in "Buddy Building", when he selling balloons at Lake Zester.
His last appearance is in "Three Ring Bind", where he made his television debut as the secondary antagonist. he first shows up after the ringmaster calls for him. He gets Max and P.J. away from the circus, unknowing Pistol was still there.
Trivia[]
- His design in "Hot Air" is different than his other appearances.
- It is unknown when he started working with the ringmaster.
- Frank Welker does Giblet's voice as an impression of Pat Buttram. Ironically, Pat himself would later be the voice of the Possum Park MC in A Goofy Movie as a posthumous credit.
