Gooferamus T. Goofy is one of Goofy's ancestors on Goof Troop, appearing in the episode "Hallow-Weenies". He appears as a ghost to Max and P.J. to provide them with advice on how to stop the ghosts.
Background[]
Back in his day, Gooferamus was a famous ghost catcher. But after becoming one himself, he inhabited his own watch until he was summoned by his latest descendant, Max Goof.
Powers and abilities[]
Gooferamus was an expert at capturing ghosts and even knew their weaknesses, having "cleaned out a whole ghost town once", according to Goofy. As a ghost himself, he has the natural abilities of any ghost, such as flight and intangibility, also he is never seen doing these things. He can also conjure objects, such as a noisemaker and inhabits his own watch, which he was rewarded with for trapping ghosts.
Role in the episode[]
He was mentioned by his descendant Goofy when he showed Max and P.J. Gooferamus' pocket-watch used to capture ghosts. When Max and P.J. look for Peg, they accidentally release Gooferamus from his watch and he wishes them a happy Halloween. Then he helps them by giving the two boys some hints on how to stop the ghosts. Then he goes back inside his watch to have his party.
