The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance is a planned non-fiction book by Jake S. Friedman about the history and art of The Disney Afternoon. It was announced in 2019; unfortunately, despite the book having been completed as early as 2020, its release was repeatedly delayed and then quietly cancelled in 2025.
