It has come to our attention that Disney is planning to remove some of their lesser-watched titles from Disney+, which unfortunately may possibly include some of our favorite Disney Afternoon shows! We strongly encourage anyone reading this to please watch as much of these Disney Afternoon shows (and any other not-so-trending shows and movies they're a fan of, for that matter) on Disney+ as they can, and hopefully encourage Disney to not again deprive us all of these classic cartoons!

- Iron Studios has acquired the rights to make collectible DuckTales figures.
- Drew Struzan, whose many movie posters included DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, died at the age of 78 on October 13th.
- Maestro Media is running a Kickstarter campaign for a set of tabletop games titled The Disney Afternoon Rewind (pictured).
- Dynamite Entertainment's mini-series teaming Gargoyles up with Darkwing Duck will begin on January 28th.
- Fantagraphics' sixth volume of The Disney Afternoon Adventures, featuring the comic adaptation of DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, is coming out on January 14th.
- Jake S. Friedman's book The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance is still not out yet.
